As close to the original as it gets!
Simlandi called us to do an incredible task: recreate the Mona Lisa. The idea was to bring to life the painting by one of the greatest artists of all time to show that some things are not mere copies of the original but contemporary versions of immortal masterpieces.
The creation and development process was challenging. We looked for models who could give us the perfect expressions to capture the right vibe with costumes, lighting, framing, and more. Our team considered every detail to reproduce the piece accurately while adding a fresh, contemporary touch.
We used many techniques and software to work on this project. We combined the ultra-high-resolution photography of the Phase One, with its 100 megapixels, with image adjustments and treatments using the best and most advanced tools available, such as Capture One, Camera Raw, Adobe Photoshop, Nuke, After Effects, and Akool AI. Our biggest challenge was maintaining the fidelity of the original's light, colors, proportions, and expressions in our modern, updated version.
