THE CONGREGATION
PodHER's "The Congregation" initiative brings together people who want to protect reproductive rights, no matter what their religious beliefs are, especially after the overturning of Roe v. Wade. As part of this drive, Klick Health invited us to create an AR filter that could serve as a temple accessible to all, regardless of location or time, and offer a platform for this religious community to express its values and symbols.
The augmented reality technology used in the project created an amazing visual experience and brought our vision of combining technical innovation with social impact to life. We faced technical challenges during the project, like adjusting statue models to fit AR constraints and developing the right lighting to keep the colors vibrant and the ambiance welcoming.
This virtual temple, a testament to the power of technology in creating inclusive spaces beyond physical boundaries, offers a unique and immersive experience. We also made a special shader for the temple spawn that builds walls around the user, making the experience even more immersive. The challenges were successfully overcome, resulting in a final product that reflects a commitment to both technical excellence and social impact.
